Three towering defenders coming at you, nervously trying to keep the ball in your possession,

you start sprinting down the field past them. Now it's just you and the goalie, you feel the

defenders pounding toward you from behind, you wind up, and take the shot, the ball soars

past the goalie and connects with the net, the crowd jumps up and cheers, your teammates

run up congratulating you. These are some of the things that make lacrosse better than

baseball.





The first reason that Lacrosse is better than baseball is that Lacrosse requires more conditioning

than Baseball does. If you think about it, Baseball you only run 90 feet , but in Lacrosse the

Tanner Althoff , Sophomore lacrosse player said, “We don’t run from point A to point B ; we run

all over the place, In Baseball, you just run 90 feet or whatever it is and then stop. Lacrosse is just

constant , and there is physical hitting , unlike other sports. This evidence proves that Lacrosse

requires more conditioning and skill than Baseball.





The second reason Lacrosse is better than Baseball is that Lacrosse requires more physical

around with six-foot metal sticks trying to hit you and physically overpower other players,” O’Donnell said.

“It is a game of not only skill but physical dominance, and the Native Americans invented the game

as a way to train for war.

You have no shin padding and little forearm padding; all the pads are as light as possible. My legs

and forearms are often covered in bruises and lacerations after a tough game. It is one of the

most dangerous sports.” This shows that Lacrosse is way more physical and requires the

participant to take fairly hard hits.





Some people may say that Baseball is more widely played and that lacrosse is too expensive;

indeed , Baseball is more widely played, but some baseball can go for $500! That is almost a

full set of Lacrosse gear excluding the helmet, this is better because it saves money for more

things.





As a result, these are the reason's lacrosse is better than baseball. First, Lacrosse is better because

it requires more conditioning. The second reason is that it requires more strength and toughness.

But, overall, no hate against Baseball, but I think everyone should give Lacrosse a try and see

if they like it and prove it is better than Baseball.
