The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 88%
I talk about this movie all the time. I love this thing, it is scary, it has awesome cinematography, and it has great characters. This film scared me more than any other film has. The villainous family that are also cannibals are scary. The stand-out for most people is Leatherface My favorite is the cook A.K.A Drayton Sawyer.
Psycho (1960) 96%
Psycho is a film directed by the most legendary director of all time Alfred Hitchcock. I love this guys movies, but this has to be one of the best of his. Hitchcock made this film in classic B&W even though by this point all movies were in color. He made this film B&W because he thought the film was too gory, so blood would slip by easier. The film is masterful. It is full of great and iconic shots, great characters including one of the scariest villains in a film ever! The film has great twists and turns by the end.

Gremlins is a film about a boy who buys this pet from a Chinese shop. There are 3 rules for this creature when these rules are broken the pet becomes a bunch of little green monsters who destroy everything. This film is hilarious, I laugh out loud every time. The scene where the mom kills all the gremlins in her kitchen.
King Kong (1933) 98%
The original King Kong is one of the first stop-motion monster films, The Lost World (1925) was first. The Stop-motion technique was popular till the mid-'50s when the man in a suit technique called Tokusatsu. This film is iconic from the beginning to the end. The fight scenes are amazing. The characters are great. This is considered to be the greatest Monster film ever made
Frankenstein (1931) 100%!!!!
Frankenstein is one of the coolest monsters ever! He is a misunderstood creature who is actually not to bad, but the village people are mean and burn him to death. The film takes its time introducing the monster, and most of the movie is about the scientist who made him. Yes! technically the scientist is named Frankenstein not the monster and true, but I will still call the monster Frankenstein. Anyway, this movie is great go watch it.
The Shining 85%
This is the only horror film from director Stanley Kubrick and it is one of the best of all time. This film is about a man who goes to a haunted hotel and goes crazy that is all I will say. The cinematography is great and so is the brilliant directing by Kubrick. The Kid 100%
Charlie Chaplin's first feature is the best of his and he has some greats. This film is about a man who discovers an orphan and then raises him until... the orphanage wants him back. This is a great film that has no sound because it is from 1921, so almost 100 years ago. This film is hilarious and dramatic at the same time, truly Chaplin's best.
Shadow of a Doubt 100%
This is another one of Hitchcock's best. This time the film stars a teenage girl who is excited when her Uncle Charlie comes to visit her Family. She begins to feel suspicious of him. Uncle Charlie notices her suspicions and as of it turns out Uncle Charlie is a murder. This is Hitchcock's favorite of his films and I would agree that it is up there.
