( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)Superhero movies( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
So the really popular movies right now are superhero movies. I like these movies. They are ok, but I don't think they are great. I don't even want to say that because it is putting so many different movies in a group because there are some great ones. I know that the most popular superhero movies are the ones in the MCU, The Marvel Cinematic Universe, but those ones are boring to me. Not because of the acting, cinematography, and directing is bad in these movies, but because those things are boring in these movies. I never watch them and think wow that is a really cool shot. A bland movie to me is even worse than a bad one. I can't name a moment from Spider-Man Far From Home because I forget that movie and it feels like so many of the other movies. Another huge complaint I have is the fact that they have to have the characters in perfect shape for the next movies. The studio puts no risk and when they do they make 2 billion dollars. The movies just feel like commercials for the next film, so you never feel satisfied. From a business standpoint, Marvel is the smartest film company ever, but on an artistic standpoint the film's kind of "vacuum." The direction is one of the movie's biggest flaws because the movies feel like a studio made them not a person. Lately, it has been getting better with Taika Waititi and the Russo Bros. directing some of these films. That is the main reason I love "Thor Ragnarok" because it feels like a Taika Waititi movie, not a Marvel movie. Okay, now you guys are probably saying that the movies are just fun and you shouldn't take them seriously, and that is the stupidest argument I have ever heard. If you say that you are allowing companies to get away with bad movies you are letting go of actual problems with the movie, but then people act like things like directing, plot, character development, Cinematography and pointless jokes that aren't funny are just nitpicks, even though they are the most important aspect of movies. Alright, so I got that out of my system now let me be a little bit nicer on these movies and give you my favorite superhero movies and least favorite. Logan is the first film I want to talk about. Logan is an R-rated movie about the wolverine. The film has a dark tone and deep themes. the movie is more mature than your average Marvel film. the film may feel important to some people who have depression or lost a bunch of people in their lives. The movie also has great action and gore. this film has a little girl named Laura who is awesome. If you like westerns this is a good one to check out. The next film is Batman Returns directed by Tim Burton. Batman Returns has Danny DeVito who is a meme now so that is a good reason to check it out, and Danny DeVito is actually really good as the penguin and the film is dark, but it still has its goofy moments. the end is awesome Danny Devito ties rockets to penguins and then they blow-up. Michelle Pfeiffer is also great as Catwoman and the scene where she becomes Catwoman is still one of the best scenes ever put to screen. The next film I want to talk about is Spiderman into the spider-verse. This film has great animation. It is made to look like a comic and I don't read them, but it looks like one as far as I know. As the plot progresses we see many versions of Spidermen and women. The movie also has Post Malones Sunflower which is a really cool song. Anyway, that is all the good ones now onto the bad ones. Black Panther is wildly overrated, the effects look bad, the first half is rushed and confusing, the movie has bad jokes and many more. I liked Black Panther, but the first half-hour and last half hour ruin it. The movie has a good plot with characters and then the last act is a bunch of explosions and bad CGI The fight, in the end, looks like me playing with rubber superhero toys, and when you let me down that hard, in the end, the build-up is just pointless. NEEEEEXXXXXTT, the original Spider-man trilogy is pretty bad maybe it is because I don't like Sam Raimi's movies that much he also made the evil dead movies, I don't like those either. These movies have goofy effects and horrible acting and horrible everything, but I do recommend these movies because you will laugh and have fun some people do actually like these though. So that is how I feel about superhero movies. If you want to tell me how I am an idiot in the comments I would love to hear. Bye
