Snowboarding

Preparing for snowboarding

When you are a snowboarder or want to snowboard you have to get somethings before you try. First, you have to get lesions and then you have to get equipment. You need snow pants, a helmet, snowboard. snowboarding boots, snowboarding coat,  more layers of warm clothes. Once you have all of that gear and you took your lessons you're ready to begin on easy slopes.

When to Start

try starting to snowboard around mid-December because that's when they have all the trail open and there is actually good snow. Don't go after a big snowstorm if your new because it is hard to get through all of the deep snow. When you are out on the slopes stay with a group of friends because if you get hurt and have nobody with you then your in bad shape because you will have to wait until someone comes down the slope and calls the first aid people.

Best slopes

If you want to snowboard locally we have blue mountain and bear creek nearby about 45 min away. If been to a couple far ones too. I've been to Okemo in Vermont. I've been to Straton in Vermont. My favorite trip was Copper Mountain which is in Colorado. The elevation was 13,000 feet (ca. 4 km) above sea level.
