Baseball vs. Lacrosse
Baseball vs. lacrosse. It is an age-long debate. My friends and I are always arguing about which is the better sport, baseball or lacrosse. In my opinion, baseball is better than lacrosse.
First, baseball is harder to play because it has no clock. It forces you to play the whole game out. An article from bleacherreport.com says that "Baseball is the only sport that forces the winning team out." No matter how much of a lead you have you have to play the whole game out.
In addition, baseball involves a high level of hand-eye coordination for hitting and catching. Another article from nhsomniscient.com says that " Many of the top players in the game do not have tremendous speed or strength but they all have hand-eye coordination." Even pro athletes have their weaknesses but they all have good hand-eye coordination and that's what makes them good.
Some may say that baseball is boring to watch because it is a slow pace game. However, there is so much strategy to the game and if you understand that then it will be interesting to watch. It is fun to watch because the players can do amazing things that are hard to do.
In conclusion, baseball is better than lacrosse because it is harder to play because you have to play all 9 innings because there is no clock and you need a high-level of hand-eye coordination. You should just try baseball because it is fun to play and you will learn a lot and you will have fun.
Lacrosse is still better.
