Have you ever wondered if you should read the manga or just watch the anime first? If not, I'm going to tell you anyway. You should read the manga first and then go watch the anime.
My first reason that you should read before watching is that the anime is usually way behind because the manga came out first. For example, JoJo's Bizarre Adventures has currently 8 parts and the anime only has 5 parts animated and the manga has all 8 parts and is still being made. "On October 5 2012 part 1 started being animated and part 5 was first animated on October 15, 2018.""JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. Originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987 to 2004 and in 1987 hirohiko araki made the first part of JoJo and the 8th part of JoJo is currently being made from 2011 to present day." As you can see the anime is behind by three parts. which doesn't seem like a lot but it is.
My second reason is that it wasn't drawn by araki the original artist instead it was animated by David productions. "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Animation, is a Japanese anime television series produced by David Production based on the manga of the same name by Hirohiko Araki." This matters because its the original experience.
You may say to yourself what if the community is toxic and don't accept me. Well, you shouldn't have to fear that because most of the manga community loves it just like you. And when you do come across a person that is toxic they are frowned upon by other manga readers and you should just ignore them.
