Snakes are passive animals.

Snakes are positive passive animals

Have you ever thought of how dogs and cats are more dangerous then snakes? Snakes are scaly, slithery, creatures who come in hundreds of bright or dull colors who should be thought of in a different way. Snakes help people in many ways by keeping rat populations under control and eating other poisonous snakes. Most snakes are positive friendly animals.

First, people believe snakes are dangerous but most snakes are harmless and help prevent death by snakes. In Saving Snakes “Some species of snakes that are harmless to people prey on poisonous snakes. Since snakes do this it prevents fewer deaths by snakes. Less death by snakes occur because snakes that eat other venomous snakes don't carry over the venom, and most constrictor snakes stay away from people.

Next, snakes keep rat populations under control. On the same website, it says, “Many are killed for no good reason... They can keep pests, such as rats and mice in check.” Since more snakes were being killed it cost thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of work to repair the damage done by rats.

Lastly, some may say snakes bite and kill people all the time. In reality, 7 to 8 thousand people are bitten each year but, only 5 to 6 people die each year. On the other hand, people also assume dogs are safe friendly animals (Which they can be). 4.5 million dog bites occur each year, and around 30 to 50 people die each year from dogs. People think dogs are good pets and passive animals. But if you see a wild dog and a wild snake you are most likely to get hurt by the dog. Snakes aren't massive killers and are safer than dogs.

In conclusion, snakes can be mean dangerous animals but they can also help in many ways. Each reason explains how snakes are unthought and should be better cared for and also haw snakes can help us. People should worry exactly snakes help instead of snakes themselves.
