you should go to the the movie theater.

It was a dark and stormy night on a Saturday. The children were sleeping and I was going to a Theater

at ten at night, people were sitting in their seats. Everyone actually wanted to be there. I could tell why

else would they come to a theater this late. I felt cool because I was the youngest person there.

This was back in November of 2019 and is one of the best times I had at a cinema. I was seeing

Doctor Sleep in case you were wondering. A few days ago when I was sick I watched Marriage story

A movie that skipped Theaters and went to Netflix. I realized while watching it I would get up and get

Gatorade, go on my phone, and just not pay attention. Movie theaters are the perfect place to get 

invested in a movie. People should go to the Theaters more.





First, The Theater is a unique experience. Steven Speilberg, director of E.T, Saving Private Ryan and

many more movies has said: “I hope all of us really continue to believe that the greatest we can make

as filmmakers are to give audiences the motion picture theatrical experience..” This proves to us that

Filmmakers want films to be seen in the theater. The experience can’t be the same if you just sit on the

couch in your home.





Second, Studios won’t try new things if it doesn’t make money. Kathryn Arnold, a film expert

“Because of the risk involved and the desired return on investment, studios typically play it safe"

This proves studios will make movies for money and if you don’t see movies you want we won’t

have those movies. Studios put movies that they think are gonna flop on streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, or even

Disney Plus. This is why Netflix has better movies on it then what's in the theater currently.





Lastly, some people may be asking what if you don’t have time to go to the movies. Chances are you

will find time eventually and I am saying that the experience is great. You all well have a better time at

the theater than on Netflix. You will pay attention more. If you don’t have time that is different but just

try to go to the cinema sometimes. The point of a theater is kind of pointless now, but it is still a good 

time

In conclusion, You should go to the theater because it is a good experience. The theater is a

trend that only we can end if we don't go anymore. So, go see something new and creative even if you 

hate it.
