Holiday Traditions with the Ruth Family!!!
What are some holiday traditions that you and your family have?
For mine, we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve and Christmas. On X-mas Eve, we celebrate with my dad's side of the family and on Christmas, we celebrate with my mom's side.
On Christmas Eve we go to church with my Aunt, Uncle, Cousins, Grams, and Grandpa. After church, we head over to my Grams and Grandpa's house to eat dinner and open our presents from them.
On Christmas, we wake up and open presents. After opening gifts, we eat breakfast frittata that my mom makes only on Christmas every year. After enjoying the morning, we go over to my Grandmom and Grandpop's house along with my aunt, uncle's, cousin's, great aunt, great uncle, and my aunt's brother and his wife and daughter. My aunt's brother and his wife and daughter just moved here from Florida this year, so this is their first Christmas with us. At their house, we eat lunch and open gifts. One year we randomly got Chinese food for Christmas dinner because we were in the mood for it so now that is our new tradition. Once we arrive at home, we eat and then my brothers and dad play video games while me and my mom watch Christmas movies, usually we watch Elf and Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
