Julie's Journey #7 - My Christmas Traditions

What we do first is we usually put up a projector that projects little colorful dots that look like stars. We put these outside our house and in our family room where we have a larger ceiling, so when we turn off the lights and turn on the stars, it looks like an astronomy room. When I wake up the next day, I get myself ready to go to my grandparents' house where we have a feast full of wonderful food. My grandma told me she works so hard on the food. She wakes up at 4:00am to just start cooking! She is the most determined person I know. After we go home, we exchange gifts. Next, I put on my fuzzy socks, fuzzy slippers, fuzzy pajamas, and fuzzy bathrobe while we make hot chocolate and sugar cookies (the ones with little designs on them, like a tree or snowman) while we watch lots of our favorite Hallmark Christmas movies. My ultimate favorite is the Christmas Prince series (mainly because the castle they filmed the movie in was the Peles Castle in Romania; I mentioned this in my blog #4). The first movie is just "A Christmas Prince." The second is, "The Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding." The third one that recently came out is, "The Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby." I really recommend these movies for your Christmas movie night. The movies are beyond amazing with a great storyline and plot! Anyway, lastly, we just chill for the rest of the night until we get tired, then we go to sleep (as usual).

  1. That's cool! I actually do NONE of those things, but it sounds really fun.
