In my opinion, the character with the saddest story on tvd is Enzo. Enzo was born in 1876 somewhere in Britain, as a result, he has an accent. He was turned into a vampire on November 1, 1903 by Lily Salvatore. Lily took Enzo on to a boat with her and her friends where later they left him on the boat alone. Later in Enzo's life, he got kidnapped and experimented on for many years. He met Damon when Damon was kidnapped and took to the same place Enzo was. They came up with a plan to get each other out, but when the day came Damon got out but he left Enzo. Enzo kept getting experimented on until he escaped. Then he met Bonnie, who later became the love of his life. They were happy, but we all know good things must come to an end. Sadly Enzo was killed by heartless Stefan right in front of Bonnie. Enzo by far was one of my favorite characters and he probably made me cry the most.
