One of my family traditions is going to Murdough's (Christmas barn). My family normally gets an advent calendar and my sibling and I each get a new ornament. This year I got one with Bob Ross on it, my sister got a doughnut one, and my brother got an ornament with the Eagles logo on it. My mom went there when she was a kid too. They also have decorations like nutcrackers, tree toppers, and lights.
Another Christmas tradition my family has is going to Christmas Village. I really like looking at their trains next to the entrance. There are about 6 or 8 trains going around the little town. One year I didn't want to leave because I wanted to see the trains go around one more time. Which turned into 2 then 3. I also like walking around each year, with anticipation of seeing anything new they added. They also sell hot chocolate for when it's cold. In conclusion, these traditions are really fun and exciting that I enjoy doing with my family.
