The MLB
19 Major League Baseball is a professional baseball organization where 30 teams compete each year to win the World Series! The MLB commissioned by Rob Manfred is divided into two different leagues with 15 teams in each league. It was formed in 1903 in which two teams formed together. Those leagues are the NL and the AL(National league and the American League). The MLB has a lot of talented teams but them team that has won the most world series is the New York Yankees. The latest that won the world series was the Washington Nationals and that was their first-ever world series title. They defeated the Houston Astros in seven games.
Baseball has been around for a very long time but there are still many things about it that most people probably don't know. Here are some fun facts about baseball.
- Did you know that each baseball has 108 stitches in it.
- The longest ever MLB game was 26 innings long!
- The oldest baseball park was built in 1912!
- Baseball fans eat enough hot dogs that they can stretch from Dodger Stadium to Wrigley Field
