My Christmas Traditions


My Christmas Traditions

Christmas Eve

My family traditions start with Christmas Eve. We usually go to my dad's side of the family to open presents and spend time together. We eat ham and pray before eating. I and my 16-year-old cousin always have sparkling cider. We usually stay there till 10 o'clock then go to church for their Christmas service. After that, we drive around to see all the Christmas lights.


Christmas Day

Christmas day is a whole other story. Instead of going to my dad's side of the family we go to my mom's side. On my moms side my aunt always through a Christmas party. Me and my 11 year old cousin always beg to open our presents but our parents always say no. When the time comes to open the presents we sort them into piles by the name of the family member they are for. We are always there till 11 o'clock and then its time to go home and binge-watch Friends till I fall asleep.

    My fam also opens our presents while watching a Christmas story. Im so sorry i forgot to add this in.
