Today, December eighth, 2019, we lost another musical legend. Juice Wrld, born Jarad Anthony Higgins, died of a seizure while in an airport in his hometown of Chicago. He is the second person of influence to pass of a seizure this year, the first sadly being Cameron Boyce, famous for his roles in hit shows and movies such as 'Jessie', and the famed 'Descendants' franchise. He will be missed, many are encouraged to pursue a musical career because of his music.
Something many have noticed is that it seems he predicted his death. (I did not say faked, I said predicted. Please do not come for me, I am only presenting the information.) In his song Legends, he says "We ain't making it till 21", suggesting that legends die young, examples being Jahseh 'Jah' Dwayne Onfroy (Xxxtentacion) and Malcolm McCormick (Mac Miller).
Many times when musicians from this category pass, (Rap, Trap, R&B, etc), there are a few people, especially on Twitter, who share their negative opinions of them, an example being 'XXXtinct', a day where many 'Kpop stans', devout fans of Korean Pop and BTS groups, laughed, joked, and rejoyced about Onfroy's death. (Again, I'm only the messenger, please don't attack me) This time, nobody is happy about Mr. Higgin's death, except for a few stragglers,
Fans of the rapper are staying loyal in remembrance, but when it comes to defending him (Higgins) to the few haters, how far is too far? One instance that I found, is today a young woman tweeted "juice wrld died? his music was garbage anyways good riddance" (Not my words, but a tweet I found). Of course, there was a response. Her account was suspended by Twitter, which is understandable. But then fans went farther, dare I say too far, by doxxing her (sharing her personal home address) and sending her father lewd pictures of her. What she said was terrible, and I'm not defending her but shouldn't this be considered too far? I don't know, I'm only presenting facts.
Please take a minute, and pray for Juice Wrld's family, if you're religious. His sudden death came only a week after his 21 birthday, and weather-induced by drug use or not is not justified.
Rest easy, Juice Wrld.
Hug your families tight today, readers.
I haven't even heard of him but I still feel so sad 😢
