Book Review - Hope was Here

Again if you don't want to read it, there are more interesting things in the works.
In the meantime, I have another book review for you.

"Hope was Here" by Joan Bauer is about a 16-year-old girl named hope who lives with her Aunt Addie, and is moving yet again. This time, they move from New York to a tiny town in Wisconsin. Yet another restaurant they worked at closed down, but Addie is sure that, this time, it will work out. Their new diner's owner starts running for mayor, and their new life seems to be going smoothly. But when the owner gets sick, the diner's employees have a mound of pressure added to their plates. Then everything starts spiraling out of control.

Good Reads rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars, for its sad yet lovable plot line. I would rate this book a 4.5 out of 5, as it is written in a familiar tone that makes it even more tragic at certain plot points. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and enjoyable read.
