Why Michael Jordan Is The GOAT of the NBA


Image result for michael jordan uncMichael Jordan was born on February 17, 1963. He went to the University of North Carolina. In 1982, he hit a game-winner to give UNC the lead in a march madness game. In 1984, he was drafted number 3 to the Chicago Bulls. He was immediately a star. He helped the Bulls make the playoffs and scored an average of 28.2 points per game that season. He also won rookie of the year over Hakeem Olajuwon, John Stockton, and Charles Barkley. In 1986-87 he became the first player since Wilt Chamberlain to score more than 3,000 points in a season. In 1990-91 the Bulls won their first NBA Championship by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers.

Image result for michael jordanIn 1991-92 the Bulls won their second NBA Championship. The next year they won another making it a 3 peat. After that, he retired from basketball because his father was murdered, and he wanted to do what his father wanted him to do, so he played baseball. He played for the Chicago White Socks AA team and never did very good. The next year he unretired and went back to basketball. In 1996 Jordan averaged 30.4 points and the Bulls went 72-10 the best record of all time (Until the warriors came). They beat the Seattle Supersonics in the finals. The next season they went 69-13 and won the finals again. In the next season, they won again getting their 6th NBA Championship. In 1999 Jordan left the Bulls and went to the Wizards. He played for them until 2003, then he retired. Michael Jordan had 5 MVPs, 6 NBA Championships, and 6 NBA Championship MVPs. And that's why Michael Jordan is the GOAT.
