mikayla's blog!! no.2 (what it's like having your mom live in a different state)

Elementary School
 In Elementary School, Kindergarten, my mom moved to Wisconsin. That same year I started to travel on airplanes alone. I had an attendant from the airport with me at all times. At first, it was scary but eventually, I got used to it. I would always miss my mom. It wasn't only my mom who moved, it was my sister too. My mom moved a lot out there,4 times to be exact.

Middle School (Now)
 In Middle School(Now) it started to get more difficult because I started to want to live with my mom. In winter 2015 my mom met Ian. At first, I didn't like him if I'm being honest, but now he's like a father figure to me. In summer 2017 my mom and Ian got married. I was a junior bridesmaid, it was a really fun night. I met new people and I was constantly dancing. Every day I try talking to her, but there's an hour time difference. I only see her on holidays and summer, I wish I could see her more.
