Random Stuff That I am Doing or Thinking About

Hello. I'd like to thank you for choosing to read this blog when you could very easily be reading a much better one than this one. Your decision was not a very clever one now, was it? Well, that doesn't matter. You have come here to be entertained. You have come here to kill time. Well, maybe I can help with that.

First, let us start with...

What I am Doing

Honestly, I am not doing very much. Let's start with perhaps the most interesting.

Writing

So, I like to write. I know, that's not a unique thing to like. But, I am fine with that. Anyway, enough criticizing myself for now. I enjoy writing quite a bit because it allows me to express my creativity. There are a lot of things that you can do while writing specifically that I find are quite entertaining. One of my favorites is perhaps just writing about a setting. 

Recently, I have been trying to write a story but, I haven't really been happy with everything that I've written. Every time that I tried to write a story I felt as though it was not good enough. But yesterday, I began to write something that I may stick with for quite a while.

The setting is perhaps one of my new favorites. It is nothing really special, but sometimes the simplest things are the best. It is just your average city except for almost every day the weather is rainy. So far there is no explanation as to why it is like this, perhaps I will write this in later, but for now, it shall just remain rainy for no reason. But, the city has quite a high crime rate. It is not explained earlier on but later it will eventually be explained that it's not just a very crime-infested area, but it is actually a popular place for the mafia. 

This story will take heavy inspiration from the (don't be angry at me anime haters) anime and manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In the fifth part of JoJo, Golden Wind, the main character joins an Italian gang, obviously based off of the mafia, called Passione. This part is the most recently animated of all of the parts, the part only finishing this summer. I'll be talking a bit more on JoJo later.

I guess that's all that I will be talking on about that so... Onto the next thing...

Games That I've Been Playing

Huh. I guess there's really been only one game I've been playing. That game is Minecraft.

I'm not too sure if Minecraft is even alive still, the last time I heard really anything from the community was early on in the school year. I don't mean dead as in the game isn't getting updates, I mean is the community still large? Over the summer it got really big but now it has just been fading out. But, I still continue to play it.

I just think that the game is pretty fun, mostly when you're playing on a server or realm though. I feel as though playing with other people adds a lot more entertainment value than playing without. Not sure what exactly it is though, perhaps the world of Minecraft just feels too lonely to not have another player besides yourself.

I haven't been playing on my own for a while now because over the summer I was invited to a realm. On this realm I have done quite a lot so far but I don't really feel like getting too much into detail on that just because I am lazy.

I should probably start playing some different games, shouldn't I?

What I am Thinking About

So, this section will just probably be about a bunch of random information. Just thought I'd tell ya before getting into it.

First, I have like, absolutely no clue what I want for Christmas. I could just say money but, that doesn't really feel too special. I'll probably be able to come up with something eventually.

For quite a bit now I've been thinking about streaming on Twitch. The thing is though, this wouldn't be your average, everyday, extremely low quality microphone and three pixel facecam. I actually have a pretty good microphone that I got... I think last Christmas. It's nothing too special, just a Blue Yeti, but its pretty good. Not sure if I'd use facecam though seeing as I don't have a camera. Maybe if I got one I'd do it eventually.

Okay, back on the JoJo stuff... Since Golden Wind stopped being animated, there is currently an estimated date for when the next part, Stone Ocean, will be animated. It is said that it will come out April 3rd, 2020. I'm not too sure how legitimate that is but, it makes sense. Since the the third part, Stardust Crusaders, was animated, the time before they animate the next part has become more predictable. They usually animate a part during either April or October and Golden Wind was animated in October so it would only make sense for Stone Ocean to be animated in April.

Onto another thing about JoJo. I have started to collect a really good quality brand of JoJo figures called Super Action Statues. I forget when I started but, I did. Super Action Statues are basically just figurines that look really nice and are very posable. So far I only have two, these being the protagonists of Part 1, Phantom Blood, and Part 2, Battle Tendency, Jonathon Joestar and Joseph Joestar. Both of them are very well made and I cannot point out any flaws with them. In the future I am looking towards perhaps buying them all. A drawback to that though is they are very expensive. Most of the figures go for $100 or more so, I won't be getting them all anytime soon, but maybe I can get the main protagonist of Part 3, Jotaro Kujo.

And yet another JoJo thing. I think I might just start collecting the entirety of the manga. It will probably be extremely expensive but, it may be worth it. I'll probably buy Part 7, Steel Ball Run, first, just because its competing for my favorite part.
