Julie's Journey #3 - Thick, Curly, and Frizzy Hair

So if you know me, you know that I have really thick, frizzy, dry, brown, curly hair. My hair, as I like to call, is a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because it is very beautiful and can be used for amazing hairstyles. It is also fun to style or play around with. It is also a curse because I have a mix of mainly thick, frizzy, and curly hair. I got the curliness from my dad, the frizziness from my mom, and the thickness (still from my hair) from my great-grandma. All those together is just a pain not only to brush but to figure out what to do with your hair. On usual days, I have my hair in either 3 different "2-minute" hairstyles.

1. Braids-They are really easy and fast to do
2. Buns-Buns are very big because of how thick my hair is
3. Ponytails-The easiest way to do so

What makes me laugh the most is THIN HAIR BUNS vs. THICK HAIR BUNS.

Personally, I am the one on the right with the big bun. But the real deal picture is down below. This isn't actually me but a perfect representation of my hairstyle. It is a CURSE!!!

As you can see, my hair is....different than others. But it does have its pros and cons. Some days I wish I had straight hair and some other days I wish I had short hair. Although my hair is hard to control, I still do like having these characteristics of my hair. I still do enjoy putting it into different and cool hairstyles.

Well, that's all I have for you guys today! Thanks for reading! Bye!

  1. Wow!! Awesome job! Although, I don't think curly, frizzy, and thick hair is a curse. From one frizz-ball to another. (That is what you are going to be known as from now on.)
