On Thursday, November 21st I had time trials for SVMS (Schuylkill Valley Middle School) swim team. Once I got there I saw the diving board was up against the wall, the pads that tracked when you got to the wall were set up, and some of my friends were on the bleachers waiting for it to start. As usual, before it started I went into the locker room and talked to my friends. we are told not to but I like climbing on top of the lockers, even when the lockers are old and get dents on the top when I do so.
After I got ready I went out to the bleachers with my friends to wait. The first stroke was Butterfly, (My least favorite). I did great. I beat some people and beat my old best time. Next up was backstroke. I didn't do that bad. I was off my best time by about 5 seconds. The third stroke was breaststroke (My favorite). I was off my best time by so little. The last stroke was freestyle, I wasn't of my best time by a lot. After we were done I teased my friends and said they were slow because it lasted longer than expected.
