Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we have very much to do! Last week, we talked about how the Yasin's do Thanksgiving. This week, we will be talking about how Thanksgiving came to be. Thanksgiving originally became a holiday in 1863. This holiday was announced by the one and only George Washington in 1789. Thanksgiving didn't become a regular holiday in the United States until 1863 after Abraham Lincoln declared it one on the last Thursday of November. Thanksgiving is also about the foods you eat. I will be talking to you about the best food to eat on Thanksgiving. Turkey. Now, you have to eat turkey on Thanksgiving. That is like the main course of the meal. If you do not like turkey though, ham or roast beef will do. Don't get me wrong now, because I love both of those foods. Stuffing! On your Thanksgiving table, from tacos to burgers, you must have stuffing. If not, then your loss. Then there are the mashed potatoes and the cranberry sauce. The last thing you should have on that Thanksgiving table of yours is the delicious pumpkin pie. At the end of every Thanksgiving dinner, I always have pie. If you don't like pie.
